I plan on posting some pictures here of the rebuild process as well as updates on what is going on for those that don't follow us on Carlyleracing.com or on facebook/carlyleracing.
For those that don't know... the car suffered considerably last month when we had a "little" fire in the engine bay...
But with the help of great sponsors like IPSMotorsports.net, Garrett, DriveShaftShop, RPM Transmissions, AllPro heads, TialSport, Wiseco, BigStuff, Callies, Aeromotive, Dailey Engineering, Coughlin Automotive, and new sponsors Neal Chance Converters, Moran, Kurt Urban Performance, Fragola Lines and fittings, Firecore wires and Holley, we will be back together in no time!

The car is coming back together...
Nice to see her coming back. Hated to see those fire pics. How much of the engine and FI were salvageable?
DAMMIT You can see the fibreglass melting. Beautiful car before. Hope you guys make it just as pleasing to the eye....and maybe, just maybe...a smidge faster
Serious question.....what caused the fire and how do you plan on overcoming it in the future ?? The reason I ask is....I heard it was injector o-ring related.

Thats trick.!!
Who makes them ??
Aside from the obvious manifold mods and there any other "custom" items...like rails ??
.
I just searched and found that pic. Something like 5 o injectors. I have seen some really nice ones on the bullet before, thought moran made them but couldn't find them on his site. BDS makes some that are threaded on both ends.

Good luck getting her back out soon !!
It was an injector 0-ring... we have since changed injectors and will be checking them more often.
