Default What do i do now...suggestions please

Howdy,

Only after a month or so after doing H/C to my C6 Z06 i want more power
After dropping some pretty coin on this build(238/255 cam with 11:5 compression) i would like to feel the boost
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-z...med-the-z.html
So how screwed am i to boost this motor with this big of a cam and this compression? Perhaps sell this motor and build another one?

Thx,
Mookie

Oh mah bad...Im all N/A @ 570WHP. New plan and hope would be to throw on 2.9L Whipple
Heads are milled .020 by WCCH with new Ti Intake valves, Ferrea exhaust(their stage 2 job)

I was in the same boat you are in, my solution. Traded in WCCH stage 2 heads milled .40 for a refreshed set of heads with bigger combustion chambers to lower down to 10:7 or so an A&A kit and dewitts radiator.
Not sure what my hp is gonna be but it will be tuned on 93 Octane. It will be running 6-7lbs so I'm hoping between 650-700max on a safe tune.

That's not a huge cam for an LS7. If you like how it drives, there's no reason it won't be better with boost.

Another option to consider, which is the route I looked at if I stayed n/a, is add an intake manifold for one... and two add a 100 shot if you are not afraid of the gas. That will get you to around 680-700 rwhp on the dope, and around 700 rwtq. Properly setup it will be safe, and move pretty hard and run with a lot of the stock bottom end vettes.

you should be ok with 8-9 psi meth and a spot on tune, i'm putting 11psi through my stock 11:1 compression ls7.
