Stand alone fuel system ..
Hey guys I have an 05 c6 with ported heads and cam car is currently making around 470. I'm putting the NX 102 mm plate on the car when I return from vacation, my current idea is running a Holley blue upfront with a small fuel cell ! Will this setup be ok on a fuel injected car I know this is used on carburated cars all the time but will there be problems with this being a LOW pressure system ?? You can run a low pressure standalone just fine as long as the jets you use are based on that fuel pressure. I wouldn't run a low pressure system if you were boosted, but NA you will be fine. Nitrous Outlet makes a dedicated nitrous fuel cell with a pump installed in the cell. I believe you have the option of low or high pressure. Your idea would be much cheaper though if you relocate the battery and get a universal fuel cell to fit where the battery went.
