Are you all using a mounting plate of some sort to mount your bottles in the hatch area or is it ok to just bopt the bottle mounting brackets right onto the stock hatch floor? If some areas are better than others, would anyone be able to point out which areas are ok to mount onto and which aren't. I'm wanting to try and mount my bottle directly behind the drivers seat so that I can reach the bottle and open it by hand from inside the car. Thanks

If you want to open it by hand you better mount it behind the passenger seat or you can do what I'm going to use, a bottle opener. They are good to have for an emergency shutdown too. JMHO
I have a 15lb bottle and I can reach the bottle from either the passenger side or drivers side, either side works for me, just wondering about the mounting plate need or not. I also have a blowdown tube! I tried to buy all the safety stuff needed so I don't blow my motor. It's a stock ls3 and I'd like to try and get to about 600-650rw as my end goal
I have posted pictures of mine in the past. Shows how to mount the bottle to the pan using the factory "baby seat" mounting point. I will try and post some pictures later.
