Default Help with ECS kit

I was working on installing my ecs kit I received last week and ran into a bit of a problem. I was looking for the 4 bolts that bolt the radiator cradle to the new brackets and came across these in the kit.

I can't seem to find what they are for in the instructions I printed from the ECS website. I was hoping to get some help here so I can continue the install tomorrow, but if all else fails I'll give ECS a call tomorrow. Thanks for the help.

Oil cooler relocation brackets . Uses bolts off sway bar to frame bushing clamps.

Thanks Mark!

For Z51's with the short oil cooler just use one, for the Z06's use both.

Very interesting. I'll either have to pick these up and add a z06 or z51 cooler back or I was going to do a behind the fog light cooler but this maybe an easier/better option. This Arizona heat is killer and keep the coolant temps down is a pain.

Am I reading this right - No more sway bar?

I'm also looking to relocate the oil cooler and I'm entertaining all options.

Sway bar stays in place, just shares one of the mounting bolts.

The brackets are sold separately btw.

I'll have my shop make a call. They're already ordering a shroud from you so maybe we get this on the way as well.

Come on Drew, you can see the sway bar in the installed picture.

Once I locate a z06 oil cooler I'll probably order some up too since my ECS kit didn't come with these.

The oil cooler brackets were added to the kit roughly 6-8 months ago.

I was having issues with location of the oil cooler my self. After looking for info on this, it looks like I may have the updated brackets. They look like they will fit in the same locations as the heavy duty ones in the above pics. I will have to try it tomorrow.

I cant wait for the updated install instructions for the Z06, I hope they are done before I am.

Am I going to use any of the air dam parts I removed in the beginning?

On mine there was one piece that you do end up re-using after cutting half of it off. A box cutter worked fine on this.. I just scored it a few times then bent it back and forth until the plastic snapped.

It's towards the end of the instructions, page 24, picture 76 (on old instructions). New instructions are due out any day now last we heard

Otherwise, no.
