I have an 06 A6 with an A&A v3 with 3.4 pulley and I notice at wot it quickly hits #10 and they drops to 5-6 pounds when tranny shifts. takes a while to build boost back sometimes doesnt even hit #10 again. Is this normal ? this a slipping belt? Boost leak? Bad BOV? Btw the belt is pretty new 1k or less but its a Dayco brand and I checked the adjustable belt tensioner and its on tight. Any help would be great
You will build 9-10 psi at peak, if you notice though at like 6000 RPM your going to be 1-2 PSI less than peak. Like stated a CENTRI blower is RPM based. you probably dont have a issue.
what RPM does your motor drop down to when it shifts?
Lol it was tune for the supercharger a while ago. Then retune for meth. Then I did a cam and haven't retune. But I found out there was a leak in my alky system, got that fix now and notice about the boost drop while keeping an eye on my alky. I just want everything working probably for the tuner when ready
