Well it's no twin turbo Vette spitting flames out the sides but it's still fun as hell.
Took the car out (on a closed course in Mexico) and got a couple of video clips. Car pulled very well but the low end torque just killed any real extra speed I would of felt since it starts spinning like crazy. I decided to short shift around 6k rpm instead of running to the rev limiter at 7k.
Hopefully the audio is good (HD should be pretty nice) and I did compare to the old setup. 5th gear is a definite improvement. I'm a good 20mph faster even with the short shifting.
Very nice! She is moving... Isn't it a cool feeling when you realize that the car is trying to move faster than your body in motion is? I love it!
lol the only thing I felt tonight was the steering wheel trying to rip itself out of my hands. I've done the same run a while back and it wasn't nearly as bad. Kind of worried me but the car held up well and I love the sound. Right around the same time the procharger really kicks in the exhaust just has a nasty tone to it.
I did actually completely fail trying to a better exhaust video though. I put the camera directly behind the car and it fell over twice. Once because of the car and once because I set it on a slope and as soon as I walked away it fell over. I wish I could of gotten some flames directly behind the car.
I still have some tweaking to do with the meth. Noticed some fluid on the hood last night after the run and today when I tested the system it shot fluid out if the fitting. Car never really even bogged down like it usually does so it may not be spraying very well. I'm going to look into a longer line going from the filter to the nozzle so it's not as tight of a bend.
