Default problems breaking HD Tensioner

Hello all,

I'm running Lingenfelter's 10 rib conversion for a Magna charged LS7. They use a dayco HD spring tensioner in their kit and I just broke my second one. Has anyone else had any problems with this?

Can anyone recommended a billet tensioner that will work with the 10 rib conversion?

Someone has got to make a tensioner to hold up to my power levels.

Dayum. Might try Metco and run a manual tensioner. Flexi's ain't working for you bro.

I just hate to think as much as the lingenfelter tensioner and bracket is maybe there is a billet upgrade or something.

In hardcore cases...it's better to do a manual anyway, unless you're cogged.

Nope I'm not cogged, I can't find d anyone who sells a manual tensioner for a 10 rib pulley. Its looking like something one off may be the way to go.

Yeah...any good fab shop can make one. Just a billet block cut a certain way...drill & tap some holes...8.8 hardware and viola! Manual tensioner.
