Default Boost Questions

So, I'm in the market for a C6, and my whole intentions for this car is boost. I've heard '08+ is the way to go, but just have to see what I'll end up with. My questions are, I have considered going with a twin 35gtx setup, does anyone have any suggestions for a kit? For now it will be on the stock bottom end and run 10psi, and once I puke it I'll forge it and build it for the numbers I'm wanting to see (1,200+whp). Also, I have a full turbo setup I was gonna install on my truck, BW s480. I know the hotside piping wont work, but does anyone know of somebody else who may have ran something similar? If I can find a place for it to fit, without having to hack the car up, I would be good with just running that, I know the s480 has plenty of potential on a built motor to reach my hp goals.

From what I see a lot of turbo setups are kinda custom or require a lot more creativity/fabrication.
UPP and APS kits come to mind.
But search around....theres a good amount of info with peoples turbo builds.

What's up man. Joined up here before starting your C6 search I see. I would look for an LS3 car if you want a stick shift as they have the 6060 trans. The LS2 cars would be a good value if you wanted an automatic as the 4 speed auto is cheaper to build to hold power. However, the 05 had a weak rearend. So look for an 06-07 is you want LS2. The 6 speed auto is only done by a few shops and they are expensive to build. It would take a lot of work to fit that s480. You are better off selling it. The pics I have seen of the UPP don't impress me. Maybe the kit looks better in person, but it just seemed kind of cheap to me. The TTiX kit is good stuff and I would look at that.

Are you wanting to build a drag racer or highway flyer?

What's up Jon?! Yeah, as much as I'd love to throw that s480 on an LS3, I just don't see it being able to fit anywhere, and I don't want it hanging out the hood like the LMR car does. I've looked at the kits available, and I'd like to use their stuff, just with a particular pair of turbos.

Call them and see if the turbos you want to run can be used.

Our kits have the GT35's available as an upgrade option now, or we sell the kits w/o turbos if you're wanting to use a particular brand.
