I'm on Pilot Super Sports but can only go wide open in 3rd and above with 719rwhp. I'll probably end up with a set of drag radials to swap on when I feel like doing Mexico runs.

Ran et streets before I went widebody. Run nt05r's since the et streets don't come in 19" for a 345. These do pretty well and I have no interest in a dedicated drag setup since I rarely do it.

what fronts do you guys recommend with the et streets? Does the 19" MT fit the stock Z06 wheel?

What 19" MT? The 19" DR most people run is the 345 nt05r.

I'm running the MT 275/40/18 tires up front. Just need to match them within an 1" or so.

You talking about the MT Street Comp tire in front?

Does anybody know what happens when the difference between the front and back is larger than 1"? Say 2.0"?

Traction control freaks out non stop, tons of warnings, etc. If you want to disable that then go for it. As long as you don't mind warnings and not having active handling/tc then you could do it. The BCU uses front and rear wheel speed to sense the rears are spinning/etc so when it gets to far off it thinks you are constantly spinning tires.

Yes. MT street comp tires. Price was right and I heard good reviews.

Damn. There goes my idea of only buying the 305/35-19 NT-05R rear tires then. They are 27.44" tall. That means I would need to fit a larger front tire as well. It would be better for me to get some 18" rear wheels and fit 315/35-18 Toyo TQ's on my narrow body and match those to a 245/40-18 front.

I run the 19" Nitto NT05R 345-30-19 on stock Grand Sport wheels on the rear, stock tires and wheels up front, and have no warnings / issues on the street.

The Nittos hook OK on a prepped track, and fair (much better than the stock tires) on the street. I run them down to 10psi at the track and have a best 60' so far of 1.502

On the street I run them at 30psi and drive everywhere on them when the roads are dry. I have over 5K miles on them this summer so far and all is good.

The last dyno graph I have showed: 716 WHp / 757 WTq

Best so far of : 10.28 at 141mph

What's crazy is I measured my 305/30-19 PSS on an 11" wide wheel and measured a 345/30-19 PSS on a 12" wheel and the tread is only 1" difference. 12" vs 13". Even though 345 minus 305 is 40mm, which is 1.59". Then I looked on Tire Rack and sure enough the tread width of a 305 is listed as 12.1" and the 345 is 13". The 325/30-19 PSS is listed as 12.5" tread width. I'm in no hurry to try and fit wider tires now. I think a 305 or 315 drag radial will do me just fine.

I'm not quite at 700rwhp but close... 17" hoosiers (275s) fair pretty well, I am going to try a 315 for my next setup.

I ran the 305/19 MT's for a while with stock fronts. I didn't have any issues with lights or warnings. It seems some people have issues, and some don't. I have tried a few out of "spec" combinations and never had issues.

True, some people get warnings on the 345 nt05r, others don't on stock z06s. Maybe it has to do with how worn the fronts are, or brand, or who knows. That being said, if you go way out like 2+" it will throw errors a lot more often and there will be a point where it will freak out all the time.

On my GS, I have stock GY RF 275's upfront, 345 NT05R's on rear. I get active handling warnings a lot if I do any amount of acceleration on curves. *Quite* unsettling when one wheel brakes around a curve! I think it is a combo of sidewall flex and maybe the tire size difference some have alluded to here causing the ECU to think there is tire spin. Perhaps I will try some PSS's in a larger size in front.

The vertical traction has been amazing on these with about 600 RWHP. The lateral traction and feel, notsomuch. Even without the AH kicking in, they kind of feel like a hippity hop toy, kinda bouncy. At speed I feel a little side-to-side sway.

Good to hear the 700 club boys giving to NT05R's from a vertical traction perspective, cause I'm droppin' a pulley size soon.
