Supercharger Rebuild?
I have an ECS kit on my car. I am the 3rd owner but I do not know how long the kit has been on the car, it is an 05 and has 39K miles. Everything runs fine and it seems to be making boost just fine, the only concern I have is when I first bought the car about a year ago when I shut it down I would hear the supercharger whine down (for lack of a better word). In the last few weeks I have noticed that I am not hearing that sound anymore, it just seems to stop. No strange noises at idle or revs and I changed the oil an it looked good. How many miles are you guys getting before the supercharger needs rebuilt? If it is getting close to needing a rebuild, who do you recommend to rebuild it, or do it myself? Anyone have any experience with this?
Fan seems to be working correctly, I guess I am just paranoid......
