I just purchased a 3" pulley and ID850 injectors for my eForce 599. Being I am moving to Phoenix and running into the heat factor, I was planning on getting an Alky meth kit as well being I'm now upping the boost.
How do this kit mechanically work? From some posts, I read that there is a tap into the wiper fluid tank. I also saw an additional tank. Then how do you program it to come on.
Just looking to find out how the kit actually works not just the benefits from it.
It's boost activated and ramps in as boost rises. Mine starts spraying about 3-4psi. I use my washer fluid tank as the meth tank. Pump gets mounted just under the washer tank. I'll dig up my pics. The controller **** adjusts how fast pump speed ramps up as boost rises. I have the same kit and it's good stuff.
Fender comes off quick. Some just pry the fender out a bit and do it that way. Easier to just take it off in my opinion. It has it's own MAP sensor that is sensing the boost.

I ask about the fender being I have the ZR1 side skirts on the car and I don't know how difficult getting all that off the car would be.
After installing the new pulley and injectors, I was going to have to car tuned at 12* timing running on 91 octane Exxon.
When I get out there, I was planning on doing the Alky kit and getting another tune. May I ask who did your tuning?
NicD of Phoenix did the initial tune. I've been messing with it on my own as well. I now have Matt Sorian of Florida Speed and Power helping me sort out some drivability issues by sending him logs back and forth.
With an eforce blower you should run the meth off the maf, rather than off the map. If you call Julio at alky control he will explain all that to you. No need to take off the fender. You can pull it out and by chance, the alky kit box was the perfect size to hold it out of the way while installing the pump.
