re: Fuel rail power support

Damn! I'm still reluctant to run e85 until there is more infrastructure built up to support e85. I guess the ls3 fuel rails are that much better, but also I had the stock ls2 motor stroked to a .408. That, along with the T-trim is just way too much for the stock fuel rails.

Not sure, but at 730 rwhp the car had to be drastically detuned and it's still popping the spark plug on the #7 cylinder. When I was at 611 whp on the stock ls2 block w/V-3 blower, I had no issues whatsoever with the stock rails.

dang it. What can I do to fix that? That's exactly the amount of power I'm trying to get. What companies sell reliable fuel rails? Ones that don't catch fire lol

I didn't think the ls2/3 rails were that different. ls1 is smaller. are you sure it wasn't a fuel pump issue?
I'm running a return system with the regulator about 18" off the Schrader valve, so that may make a difference.

I'm glad you brought that up, it's probably just my fuel setup. I currently have 1 400lph intank pump but it's only good to 600hp, but I just installed the T-trim which is needing a lot more fuel. I'm planning to add another 400lph which will support 1200hp in total. Think I will add the other pump first before upgrading the fuel rails. No need to spend the money if I don't have to.

I was making over 800ftlbs of torque with stock ls2 rails id1000s and a upp fuel system. You're running out of fuel or your tunes not right but if you just have a BAP I'd venture to guess your out of fuel pump.
