Default Intercooler pump switch.... help please.

Ok gurus.... need some guidance here.

I do almost all the work on my car myself, but the one thing I always hesitate on is electical. Just not my strong point, although in the end I always manage to get it right.

I want to put a switch to run my intercooler pump when the car is off. (Eforce system). Can someone guide me on the proper way to do this.

I have a casper fan switch which runs my fans. I am wondering if I can somehow wire this so that it runs both my fans and IC pump at the same time.

Thanks for any input on this.

I'm not too familiar with the Caspers switch, but is it just activating a relay that turns on the fans? If it is, it shouldn't be too hard to wire another relay in for the intercooler pump that your switch would also activate.

However,

If full fan power is running through that switch then you need to worry about current draw of the fans and current draw of the intercooler pump. Then that current value needs to be less than what the switch is rated for. It's also not a good idea to run exactly what they are rated for through them. I like to leave a couple amps of room.

I'm also with you on hating electrical. I can do it, but it's not my favorite.
