To be clear...I have searched at length to try to find the answer or instructions to this, but have not found anything so far.
I am installing a KB BAP on my C6 with an A&A SC that I purchased used. It came with the KB BAP, which had some sort of homemade wiring harness with it, and all of the factory connectors cut off the BAP.
Can anyone please post a link to a wiring diagram that will help me get this thing wired correctly. The cajundude(sp) links are dead.
I did not know to order the additional single wire connector kit, so I do not have it. I can make any connector/adapter if necessary to get around not having the additional connector.
I just installed mine but it was brand new. You can get a diagram of the racetronix setup at their website, there really isn't any instructions just the diagram. Go to Keene Bells website for instructions on the BAP. You should be able to figure it out if it isn't butchered too badly. http://www.racetronix.com/RX-C5A-FPWH-2.html
BAP instructions. http://www.aacorvette.com/pdf/aa_bap_install.pdf
The only two I'm not sure of are the two red wires from the BAP.
I will look at the diagram once more to see if I can see which red wire on the BAP connects to which connector on the harness.
Thanks for the help.
Stacey
There are 2 red wires that come out of the BAP. When the BAPs come from Kenne Bell, one of these red wires has an inline fuse. That is the wire that should be connected to the fuel pump power supply -- or output from the Racetronix harness relay in your case.
If the fuse is missing and you can't tell which is which, I do have one tip that might help. On my new BAP, the wire WITHOUT the fuse has silver writing stamped on it. The fused red wire is plain red -- no writing. Maybe this will help you narrow it down.
Personally, I'd just order the Racetronix connector kit for the BAP install. You could just cut the connectors off the harness and splice in the BAP power and output wires, but I like the connector setup better. Crimp and solder the connections, and it should be very reliable.
I have a KB BAP sitting on my desk that I bought off this forum. Represented to me to be new. Also with no instructions. Of the two red wires on mine, the fused one looks to be a slightly darker color red and also slightly smaller in diameter than the unfused one.

I noticed that on mine as well. On yours, does the wire without the fuse have silver writing stamped on it?
