Default Tapping intake for IAT?

Who all is tapping the intake for their intake air temp. ? How is it being done? I plan on going with the ls3 maf card in my 05 and running meth. I called
A&A and was told they mount the nozzles after the card and tap into the intake for the IAT?

Right behind the throttle body. You might have to cut a rib away. Just drill a hole and tap it for M14x1.5 (if memory serves me right). The sensor to use is 12614717.

I didn't tap mine. I installed a grommet and push in IAT behind the throttlebody. I made sure it's a really tight fit. I had to really lean on the IAT sensor pushing it in. Reacts really quick behind the throttlebody too.

I made a new intake pipe, and had a bung welded to it. I was scared that a push in would blow out no matter how tight the fit.

Mine hasn't moved, but I'm only running 12psi. Should be 14psi after my pulley swap tomorrow.

Pretty sure the fitting that's tapped into the intake is threaded in.

Mine didnt pop out at 14.5 i was already deleting the Maf and making a new pipe anyways so i figured i would get a bung welded in, as many issues as i have been through figured id rather be safe than sorry, especially since i was bumping the boost up a couple pounds.

I'm at 754rwhp. 12psi with 18* of timing on E85. I swapped to 91 octane so I'm trying to get some power back with more boost and less timing. Meth too. A single 15gph nozzle on a Alky Control kit running pure meth.

ECS did my upper pipe and set it up for a push in. No issues are 18-19psi.

I bought a z06 air filter and an ls3 MAF for my ls2. I tapped the IAT in the intake tract before the TB and accross from the card.
