Thanks, I've looked exetensively and I believe the 54mm is as close as it gets. I suppose widening an 8.5" may work, would have to run the numbers.
i just looked every where your right they dont make them, it must have been the 18"x 9.5 65 mm, I had that on mine in the c6 not z06, it calculated to stick out 8mm more then stock, I did the numbers on the 8.5 and widen in the rear it calculates to 11mm more then stock, the 17x9.5 56 mm is 17 mm more so the 54 mm is 19 mm more

Sounds like 8.5" 49mm widened would tuck quite nicely.
Fyi, I ended up getting the rims and 295/45R17 MTs, and they fit with no issues. Also, I dont have issues with stock front tire sizes for the base model.

Good to know. Are you stock ride height or lowered?
I may use my 18x9.5 +56 Z06 replica wheels and get them widened to 18x10.5 or 18x11 and use the 315/35-18 Toyo TQ on them. 26.8" tall tire and only $261 from Tire Rack.
does anybody have any idea if the 17x9.5 with 54 mm offset work on the rear of a base C6? I want to run the Mickey Thompson SR 2's with the 295/45r17 on my base model vette. does anybody have this on there car right now?
I have those tires on a stock C5Z06 front wheel which I believe is 54mm backspace. Im dropped on stock bolts and only got 100 miles but I havent had any rubbing yet.
Edit, Read the post more and saw ATLS2 has the same setup now. Now to see how they hook tonight. Fingers crossed.
Man I'm surprised no rubbing with a 295/45/17 on a 9.5" 54mm backspaced wheel. I get rubbing (the liner) over bumps with the same tire and 9.5" 56mm wheel and my *** end it pretty jacked up.
**EDIT: I'm a dumbass. The WS6 wheels I was using are 17x9 50**

Well ATLS was right, these fit perfect. No rubbing or anything. I'm digging them. These are OE's deep dish Zoh replicas. Should have done it a long time ago.
I got the drag warning a couple weeks back. you know, the one where are those tires are too far apart as far as height goes. I'm probably going to get a half inch taller front tire to make that go away. I actually need a half inch front raise because of the dropped radiator
