Default Nitrous questions

I'm almost finish with installing my wet kit. The car is 05 Z51 6 speed. Have a few questions before I can finish the install. Where or you guys mounting your toggle flip switch? I wanted to install in the center console but that seems impossible because the under side is flush with the body. Also thought about mounting in the ashtray but that seems like ill need to order a panel for that. How are you guys running your nitrous bottle line? Worried if I run it on the underside of the car that it will get damaged being how low these cars are. Also the TPS signal should be the all green wire coming off the TPS ?

Most people use the ashtray or get creative and put it where ever u want. I run my line down the passenger side through the firewall behind the battery/oil tank. Not sure on tps for an 05 but the later years I thought were purple. A quick search should tell ya though.

The TPS signal wire for 05 is the dark green. I tested with a multimeter. 0v at closed throttle and 4.5v at WOT for future reference. Finally finished the install, just waiting for my nitrous outlet panel to arrive.

It's interesting. I ordered that same panel after failing at making my own for the ashtray. That switch panel is really nice. I thought it would be plastic. Nope. CNC aluminum. I also ran my nitrous feed line on the passenger side and ran it through the rubber grommet next to the wire loom. Works great. I have the dry sump and there's plenty of room.

i ran my line thur the driver side there is a rubber gromment just above the rest pedal . i ran my wiring thur the passanger side thur the gromment they are talking about. i put my switch panel in my back cup holder. mounted my bottle behind the passager seat pointing towards me. easy to turn on and look at bottle pressure without having a ton of wiring and buttons to mess with.
