Default Nitrous ls2 tire recommendations

I have an 05 with 431/400 motor and 535/553 (100 shot) currently on a 125, soon to be 150. The car has an 08 z06 tr6060 and rear end. I rev out to 7k and was undecided between 295/45/17 or 275/40/17. I'm worried the taller tire will be too much and slow me down. Any thoughts?

I'd use the 275/40/17. The taller tire will give you more cushion on the hit, but the power to overcome the extra rolling diameter isn't exactly a wash. Plush the overall diameter of the 295 may give you some tire rub if your lowered.

This is what I was thinking, I guess I'll save the 295 for when the twins go on. Thanks
