Hey tried the search button a couple of time and came up empty. I was wondering if ya can supercharge a stock motor or is it better to do some upgrades to the motor before upgradeing. Also where I live there are no tunners here so I can not get the car tunned locally. I am on an island and takes a day to get to the next province over so not at option. Is there a programmer or chip I can get to tune it myself for a supercharger and what ever mods I got to get to go with it. Thanks.
Look into the eforce supercharger, has good instructions for diy people. It also comes with a tune so the car will be usable, but will obviously get better results from a custom tune.
Yes you can supercharge your stock ls2. Look into the ECS kit and the A&A kits. I like the ECS kit a bit more. Both can provide a tune. Whipple, magnacharger, edelbrock and procharger also offer blowers.
Yes you can run a supercharge even with stock engine and without anything els but it's depends on you and your puget also about the tune you can get the kit with the tune or even ask any tuner you would love to deal with for an email tune.
the way of an email tune they'll emailed you the tune you have to install it on diablo programer then connect it to your car and install the file.
guys here are so great maybe they'll gave you more suggestions so wait for more replays.
The more I read your post the more I'm ready to Send u my car.....looks like u may know wat you guys are doing... lol. By the way what trans and clutch n this particular car.

Thanks for your help guys. I was pretty sure the stock motor would be safe with supercharger but just wanted a few more opinions before I did it cause the last three cars I had were turbo and blew every motor two were tuned locally which is why I said no one here can tune a car and one was a remote tune via emails. Im gonna check out a few guys here now for a tune and get the project under way.
If your have concerns are about tunes, reliability, modest hp (550 - 600) acceptable, and safety then the Eforce us a good option for the c6
The conservative stock tune is good for both 550 and 600 kits.
The pump upgrade is needed for the 600 hp system
The type of pump is another discussion and thread. I personally prefer the upgraded pump over the boost a pump

"safe" on the stock motor isn't THAT cut and dry. Yes, they handle boost well, but no, they aren't bulletproof. I'm sure some failures have happened to others, even with decent tunes and reasonable levels of boost.
Obviously it also depends on how much boost you're going to be running, but don't expect it to last forever
(and also find a decent tuner or you're screwed from the get go)
With 05 you will break the rear end way before the motor. Motors blow stock, so of course it could blow with a super charger or turbo. If you drive your car hard you will break or wear out many items before the motor.
I'm sure the car in the video has more than a supercharger and a cam. I bet it has full exhaust, possibly meth and a smaller pulley that what comes with the kit.
Not trying to take away from the times it runs because it is stout, but the "supercharger and cam" is a little misleading. Most people don't get the most out of their combinations, but this one is getting it done for sure!
