so I went to the track today since Sep 12. it's an eighth mile track up here in North Dakota, and last time I ran it 8.7. Well I go there after getting the supercharger and and transmission work, and I run a 8.1 on my first try. That's not the part that is tough, since I didn't do a burnout on the first pass I attempted one on this second pass. so I turn off the traction control and the stability and do a burnout, but that's when I get a check engine light and a thing saying reduced engine power. Has anybody had this issue before?

I'll be very interested in the answer to this. I fitted a set of Michelin PS2 ZP's today to our stock 2011 GS. I wanted to see how they reacted leaving the line. Found some quiet dry asphalt, turned off the traction and stability control, nailed it with quite an amount of wheel spin (all good) and then noticed the check engine light on. I did not get the message saying reduced engine power and everything else checks out ok. Any ideas?

Possibly just tuning parameters not set high enough, or a worn out throttle body equating to a throttle correlation problem. Like Ravill said, time for a scanner.
you can get an OBDII scanner at autozone for about $40 bucks if I'm not mistaken???? I know its not more than that for sure because I got the pocket scanner with more features such as advanced diagnostics ect (like abs, airbags lights) and mine was $69.99....not that big of an expense when you need to know whats wrong with your car

Bets could be placed on if its the MAP/MAF correlation error...vs others.
