well it is finally time to start the actual build of the new project.. I'm looking for all known options as to the fuel system. I am aware that the entire system will need to be upgraded. I am also installing the E85 sensor kit from Steck. Here are the details and I appreciate any fuel system opinions:
06 Z06 will run on E85
F1X procharger with air to air intercooler
LS3 block with LS7 Darton sleeves
Callies dragonslayer crank 427 CI
oliver rods
wiseco pistons 10:1(because E85)
RHS ls7 heads with Ti/inconel valves
comp cams custom grind cam in the 265/ .675 range
short travel lifters
shaft rockers
RPM transmissions A4 conversion
American Racing Headers 2" headers
Yank custom converter
stock diff(3.42)
15" 275/60 rears
So what are my options for fuel system and injectors?
I'm ready to order right now as I am going to pull the tanks this weekend.
The plan is to run 8.4s with the car and retain a great amount of drivability. I think it will take about 1000whp but this combo will be capable of much more. But.... because I am running E85 the system has to handle the additional fuel needed for the E85. No matter what I will not stop digging until I surpass the 8.50 mark. Any help is appreciated
Pretty similar to my build now, except I'm using Mast heads and ERL 6-bolt block and manual tranny. Are you going with a 6-bolt setup? I'm not running E85 but went with a huge Magnafuel pump (MP-4703) to kick on under boost, with the stock Z06 pump in tank. I'm running the ID2000 injectors which would probably work for your build as well.

the rhs heads have a thicker deck and I'm running head studs(4bolt) I think I can get where I need to be on 18-20 psi(I hope lol)
The only thing on your list that I question is the Ti valves.... Ti valves and boost is normally a NO NO... The TI can not handle the heat... I would stick with hollow stem intake valves/inconel exhaust valves..
I don't have the pulleys yet... I ordered my blower over 6 weeks ago and it will be at least another 2-3 weeks they said.
we are going with a 4l60 for this build. I think Rodney might have a few tricks up his sleeve.
as far as the boost I will run that will be based on track performance. If I can go 8.40s on 900whp (probably not likely) then that's where I will be.. if it takes 1100 at the tire then that is where I will be. I know the Trans will be at its limit or beyond but that is what we are doing and it might be a test bed for more upgraded 4l60 parts for RPM transmissions to develop
I would keep it simple and accessible, do a walbro 450 e85 pump in the factory fuel canister for your primary pump. Then put a bulkhead in the factory tank and run a magnafuel 4303 off a hobbs to a y into the same feed line. I just did this setup and am really happy with how it turned out, not only is it very simple and accessible but it doesnt cost a fortune like alot of the in tank or inline setups offered. This is the in tank pump i used http://www.foreinnovations.com/produ...-f90000267.htm and this is external pump http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mrf-mp-4303.

How much HP will this setup support? Looks like an easy fuel system that costs nothing compared to the other setups.
Do you have a drawing/sketch to be used as a guideline?
