Default coilover question

Ok so my car is almost done, it is a 427 LSX Twin turbo should be putting down 1300++rwhp. I am running 15" Mickey Thompson ET streets. any one have any suggestions on what coil-overs or any recommendations? I bought a set of Pfadt heavy sway bars and have them installed. The car will be used for roll racing in mexico. let me know what yalls experience is and what would yall recommend, even if you think coil-overs are even worth it for what I am doing. Thanks in advance

We have been using Ride Tech's for about the last year now and have been happy with them. Fox shock bodies, Hyper tech springs and Ride tech makes them fit right in the Vette.

PM me if you're interested in pricing.

Mark Carlyle sells a set of custom valved Penske coil overs. If you're serious about weight transfer, get in touch with him.

Yes I have spoken to Mark about this alot lately, I guess what I want is something that has can be easily adjusted, so when I go out for some runs I can stiffen up the suspension and when I am just driving around I can get a better ride...

I bought phadt featherlight coilovers, it was the best mod I've done to my car. Not only does the car corner amazing, it feels much more planted and has completely eliminated wheel hop.

I was working with Louis at LG to get a set of Coilovers that would work for all kinds of racing. Meaning they would work great for drag racing and roll racing as I do those two types for the most part a big power street car. He has just been busy and hasn't sent me a second set to try yet. The first set was a little too stiff for the car. They rode great and handled fine. but not enough weight transfer etc... LMK know if you find the unicorn set of coilovers. GL! BTW the 15's were the biggest help and then Pro EFI was the second. Can't really put one ahead of the other, but that was just the order I did it in.

Yea I have 15's and the AEM infinity. so all thats left is the coilovers, My shop wanted me to install some MCS coilovers but they where a little over 4 grand and didnt include springs. Currently another guy that uses the same shop is having them installed on his car so once I see how he likes it I may have to get them, but as of right now I am not sure what I am going to do.

You cannot go wrong with these. We have been running them for a season now on a 1000+hp C5Z that sees tons of street and track abuse. Car is currently has Pfadt sways on it as well but will be changing to RideTech sways as soon as they are available.

Doug@ECS and the guys at RideTech have been amazing to work with so far. The Coilovers are top notch and to my knowledge are the only ones available with a lifetime warranty.

Yea for right now I am going with your opinion and just run what I got until I see a problem. I dont think I will have an issue, but when I do I want to have a plan and already know what I want to get.

I believe Mark Carlyle runs penske, so they have a drag set up just not in the option that the link was directed too. at least this is what I gather from Mark Carlyle, I could be wrong.......

So, let's set the record straight...

I do have Penske as an option for you... you can go full out drag race or you can go street car and multiple options in between.

from standard single adjustable to triple adjustable remote reservoir units with C02 control.

how much you want to spend will dictate how good they are. If you need some let me know.

For what it's worth, I have been 1.08 60' on the full out drag race option and used to go 1.32 60' on a single adjustable Pfadt that wasn't nearly as good as the Penske single adjustable.

Also, these are NOT cheap.. if you want cheap coil overs these are NOT for you. You get what you pay for here.
