Default Dashlogic/Eforce Boost ???

Hey guys,

I have a Dashlogic installed w Eforce supercharger. I read that the Eforce sensor will read boost with the Dashlogic.

It does, but it shows +5 PSI and goes up to +11 PSI under boost.

I'm guessing the PID formula is wrong....Anyone able to help?

Thanks

If that is the case, then the offset/etc is wrong in the tune, not the dashlogic.

Is this something simple like just plugging into a tuner and changing some values...
or time on the dyno? Sorry, this stuff is totally foreign to me.

The car runs awesome and all the other Dashlogic info is perfect.

Depends. Hard to say without seeing the tune. If it is speed density tuned, then it maybe a full retune. If it is a maf tune, then it is just changing the offset/slope of the sensor.

Are you sure you are monitoring the right PID? The eforce setup has several map sensors.

OK....Basic question...I think I just selected the wrong PID....

I had used Absolute Manifold Pressure.

So I went back into the Dashlogic Configuration Utility and noticed there's an option of "Calculated Boost Pressure". I selected it and started the car...Now it reads -9 at idle. Going to go for a ride and see what it does under boost.

OK...I Had the wrong PID selected..Manifold Absolute Pressure.

Changed it to Calculated boost and it worked perfectly.

-9 to -10 PSI at idle

Boosted with WOT +6 to +7 PSI

Dashlogic is awesome!
