Default SC return oil

Doing a build on a LS2 with a LS7 drysump conversion.
I'm trying to find a better place to dump the return oil from the SC.
Kit is from A&A and while its a nice SC setup, I think drilling a hole in the pan to dump the return oil isn't the way I want to go.
Anyone have a idea on where they would plumb the return oil?
A few details: LS2 with LS7 drysump conversion. Peterson 10 qt oil tank and Peterson catchcan.

To a sump tank, then run a pump to pump it back up to oil filler cap.

Really no other good option besides pan. I strongly suggest pulling the pan, drilling and welding a fittings on. I don't think I've ever seen a tapped one not leak.

I would just tap the pan on the passenger side, middle upper area. I have done several with no issues. Never seen one leak, The pan is plenty thick at that point and the pipe threads are tapered. There is not that much oil being returned to the pan.

Totally agree on welding fitting....the last one I had that was just tapped leaked...not much but still enough to leave a spot....also fyi the pan is made of some weird cast tough to get a good weld

Since were running a Peterson Tank. I'll either run a T fitting on the oil return line to the tank, or add another port on the tank and have the SC return oil dump directly into the tank.

Run a self contained head unit and be done with it.

GeneSch, that isn't always an option.

The bigger blowers like Ysi, 2200R, etc are not available in self contained, and if someone gets a good deal on a engine fed no reason not to use it.

Updating in case anyone is searching these threads.
Spoke with A&A and they advised not to T into the oil system return line as it may backfeed or inhibit oil scavenge from the SC.
Wound up welding in a bung to the side of the LS7 oil pan just above where the oil supply and scavenge lines connect to the pan.

Opted for welding a bung due to the fact that the pan is only about .150
thick and is not thick enough to seal a NPT thread.

I'm getting ready to do a similar setup (a&a t-trim). I spoke with andy at a&a and he said that the oilpan tapping setup they use with there kits haven't had problems with leaking.....
