Got to dyno, got all setup. 1st pull, 14 degrees timing maxed dyno out. It is a dynapak with bolt on hubs because all the local dyno jets can't hold >800rwhp. So tried to dyno in 5th but corvette 5th hits the speed limiter on the dyno so the only way to get numbers was to dial the tune back. Started pulling timing out until it got a reading. 11 degrees showed 1116rwhp/960rwtq. AFR was still whacked but after last pull 2 ribs of the belt came off (my stupidity) so that ended the evening. Will get a new belt on tomorrow and hopefully time to finish the tune but we will have to limp it along on this dyno to get a reading at all.
Doug, sent you an email about the belt issue with some pictures. Please help Got to get it all done by Wednesday for the race in December because I'm gone from the 26th to 10th.
Yes, car is making stupid power now. The airaid filter freed up 4psi which is a bit crazy.
Whats interesting is my inlet/filter/pipe testing. I thought the 4" pipe would pick up big power, but I got ~2hp out of it, barely anything. Basically same as before. ECS inlet pipe or 4" pipe made 1048-1050rwhp. So people wanting a 4" pipe and cut down dewitts/etc, if you have an ECS kit, it may not be worth it. Now PC or AA kits seem to gain a lot. The restriction on the ECS kit is actually the filter. 4" pipe with airaid filter made 22.5psi. Put the ECS filter on, and 18.5psi, back down to the 1050rwhp range. It is like a built in restrictor setup.

Did you try a pull with no inlet pipe on the blower at all?
Mine didn't gain much removing the filter only, but removing the long 4"/90* bend inlet pipe I picked up 2 psi. I ended up cutting the pipe in half removing most of the 90* bend...Now the filter sits almost above the radiator cover.. I went the DP big mouth filter at that point to.... Even with the changes, it still gains 1-1.5 psi with nothing on the blower at all..
Man I'd love to try out that filter and pipe you have. I went to their web site and looked at the universal filters, is that what you got? You still have the part# for it? Is that pipe one from DP?
