I just spent 2 months driving on my 15s with no TPMS sensors on them and only got the warning once for a few minutes after a 60+ miles drive. My normal wheels were at 35psi so each time I pulled into garage they would sync with those even and no issues. If I had to put new wheels on, I would just skip the sensors and do the LG bypass box.
Yup, the diff is fairly large on low psi vs higher. It's worth it to run higher pressure at any task other than straight line stuff. Air them down to the mid teens for straight line work. Air them up to mid to upper twenties for anything else. At high twenties, they're not going to scare you nutless if you have to take a corner at speed. At 15psi, they WILL get your complete and undivided attention on a quick lane change.
If I run 18-20 psi in my DR's will the computer shut me down for low tire pressure? My top 1/4 speed is less than 120 mph.
Would it be good to set my street tires next to the car and calibrate my TPMS to them? It is 100 mile drive to the track. Will they reset?
Or I could re-calibrate at the track, using my front tires twice on the go-around.
This Sunday is my first time on MT Drag Radials. Not sure what to expect.
Thanks.

I just put my m/t and skinnies on. I didn't have an issues except the occasion flat tire alert.
My M/T Street Radials are rubbing the inner fender Bad at over 140 Mph. The car squats if the rear when it is accelerating and the tires are growing like a Slick at over 140 Mph. Anyone else having this problem or is this a Freak of Nature? I adjusted the jacking bolts today trying to stiffen up the rear. Any suggestions!
Completely normal. I had to raise my car a bit to prevent rubbing at speed. I've seen people with slammed cars completely take out the fender liners and into the battery box.
My street ones have ~6k miles on them now, still great shape. The mileage is way better than I expected.
305/35-19 and they work Awesome. They just rub the rear inner fender almost all the way around at high speeds. I could see them grow during the 4th gear pulls on the dyno between 140 and 170 mph. I tightening up the rear jacking bolts again. Don't want to replace the inner fender until I get this resolved. I was wondering how people slam there car without ripping the fender well out.
I'm trying to figure out if I can fit some 345/35r18's on my GS. I have 345/30r19 Michelin PSS's under there now. The MT's are a quarter inch taller and the M&H's are three quarters of an inch taller than the Michelins.

Mine fit fine and are great under normal driving conditions or a light to light Street Race. These tires grow on the diameter at high speed like a bias slick. That is were the problem starts.
