Thoughts on upgrading diff when swapping clutch
The car goes to Patrick at QMS in a couple days for an A&A install (V3si) with Alky Control kit. I already have a compatible cam and Kooks headers, it's easy to do the rwhp math. This is an MN6 car and I've already ran 11.50's in current form.
The next stage (and soon after the SC install) will be a clutch upgrade.
Question: Since already "in there" for a clutch install the labor cost is minimal to say drop in a RPM diff. Any thoughts on the wisdom of this or am I likely throwing money away???
I currently run 345 Nitto DR's on the stock GS rims. I will plan to go with a smaller rim in the spring with some Mickey's or the likes for max efforts. Though I enjoy the stock look of the car now (no visual changes).
Any thoughts on spending (or not spending) my cash??
Thanks in advance!
