I have makita 18v stuff. No idea how it compares.
No idea really on lowered. With the 15s in the rear it needs to be higher and I may raise it but I don't want to mess with alignment. Lowering bolts are about 1/2 way or more up. Definitely not slammed. I hate low cars. A good 3 fingers front and rear.

What's the suggested retail price on these?

Full MSRP is $754 a set. They can be had for less like almost any part

I'll be watching for the review...curious from all aspects...ride quality vs stock plus the roll race and drag race settings.
#26
very curious on the review also, I'm going to LG adjustable coilovers on my setup this year too so it will be interesting to play with the settings to see how it impacts traction.

Both rear shocks are on now. Starting at 2C 12R and going from there. Odds are they will drive like crap like that and be bouncy as hell around town, so probably go to the comfort settings as soon as I go do some test hits.

Interesting stuff.

Drove to work this morning with just the rears on. Nice squats, stiff bouncing ride on the rear as expected. I'll turn the rebound down at lunch and should be caddy smooth.

Set the rears to 2/4 and rides great. Just got done doing the front passenger side, so 3/4 done now. Will have the last one done tomorrow morning.
Only thing so far is fronts need the wheels taken off to be adjusted. Adjusters face the wheel. Not a big deal, still better than no adjustment.

Awesome! Will be curious how these feel/work especially at the 4-5 shift at 150 mph with car squatting more. I'd guess you can up the stiffness on both front sides a click also and probably remove that front sway bar without impacting handling and help it squat a bit faster too.

They seem to do whatever you want. So if it squats too much, just adjust them. Not hard to do.

All done. Set to 2/4 front and rear. Rides like a caddy. Old man style smooth. Car show guys should be all over these. Love it.

Can't tell on the soft settings. If it did, wasn't big. Haven't tried them on "drag" settings, and haven't put the 15s on. Won't really know until the 1/2 mile when I go back out. On old man settings still blows tires off in 2nd if I hit it hard.

Unreal, holla at us with some more feedback. I know you guys just had 1/2 mile event and might have one coming up as well, any feedback for traction even on the street?

Street is good. Seems more planted. Hard to tell, and haven't put my 15s on yet but definitely transfers more weight and squats more when set to do that. On grandpa mode it rides like a caddy. Setup to handle it is stiff, very little body roll, and you feel all the little bumps. On more drag oriented setups it definitely squats. I'm very happy with them. I'm sure they will work as well as I set them at the 1/2 mile, but with all the other changes and 250+hp more getting actual numbers differences isn't going to happen since car is making WAY more power, so it will either be a lot faster from that, or worse traction because of that. I guess if it hooks the same as it did at ~800rwhp then I would call that a success.
Having a nice adjustable shock just gives another tool to help. It isn't going to be some magic fix.

I had a set on my 2013 Boss. I loved them. I might have to pick up a set for my Z.
Unreal,
Too bad you won't be at the ACE BBQ. Wanted to pick your brain a little.

Any concerns about there not being a cover on the shaft?
(that's what she said)

I like my shafts uncovered.
I asked that when I put a set on my mustang. Mustang guys aren't running dust covers. There was tons of people, including Kelly@BMR that said no covers, with 60k+ miles no issues. So I'm not concerned.
I look at it like this, having non-adjustable shocks is like racing with 22psi in your tires and not being able to do anything about that. Wouldn't you like to lower or raise pressure depending on condition? Does going from 22 to 16psi make a huge difference in traction? Well it can, just like these can make a huge difference depending on situation, track, setup.
Mustang guys are going 1.0-1.1 60's easy enough on them. 4th Gen Fbody guys, G-bodies, etc. An adjustable shock is an adjustable shock, putting it on a corvette doesn't really change the basics of how a shock works or the advantages to a double adjustable shock.
