Default 2012 GS Conv. A6 Mod help

I have a 2012 GS Conv. A6 and started lusting for the new 2015 Z06. After looking at the pros and cons I am going to stay with my GS and do a few mods. I am looking at the Magnuson Heartbeat SC, Calloway Honker Air Intake, Port and Polish Throttle body, 160 degree thermostat, and add boost and fuel pressure guages. I plan to keep the stock Performance dual tip exhaust. I do not plan to race and want to keep my stock hood. I would welcome comments on these mods and any additions I might consider.

You might give Late Model Racecraft a call. NW side of town.

Is there a particular reason you are going for the Magnuson? Not saying anything bad about it, but there are other options that are quite common around here. A&A and ECS make centrifugal supercharger kits that will make loads of power reliably and repeatably . Don't ask which is better.. too many people are absolutely sure their team is better than the other and it always creates a fight, lol.

Just something else to take a look at.

Maybe he's done his homework and has decided that a Heartbeat fits his program perfectly. I did my homework and chose the Heartbeat. Not saying there's anything bad about a centri blower. They just aren't for everybody

No doubt about that.. that's why I was asking. Some people have only heard of one or the other and ask about it because they don't know of anything else.. then there's some that just want that particular option. Nothing wrong with either
