Are you gonna use the windshield washer tank or get a trunk mounted tank? Before I switched to a trunk mounted tank I could get a good bit of back to back races in before having to fill up. Can go a lot longer now and don't have to worry about it leaking.

I run the ECS dual nozzle Alky Control kit with a AIS cubby hole meth tank.

I've never even seen the low light come on. Top it off once and month and at most I've used ~3/4 gallon. That is two nozzles spraying a ton of meth. I guess if you are boost all the time you may have to fill up more often, but it is so quick and easy it isn't a concern.

Meth is only spraying when you are ~4+psi or whatever you set it too. I don't even think mine comes on until ~7psi then ramps up to full by 11-12psi. So unless you are really beating on it you barely use any meth.

I haven't gotten close to low yet. I recently went to a half mile event and ran several pulls to 170mph, along with plenty of "yeehaw" on the highway going to and from. I use those little red plastic party cups to pour the meth into the car rather than lifting and trying to carefully pour it in out of a five gallon container. I then use the small little red plastic cups to pour it into the windshield washer fluid container. Those hold about 12 oz and I hear the wiper fluid is a gallon so that's about 128 oz. It only took 3 pours of the cups to get it topped off. That's about 36oz or a hair over a quarter of a gallon of the meth burned during that day.

In short, there's a TON and you won't go through it that quickly.

The nice thing about using windshield the wiper res, aside from it already being installed, is that it comes with a low volume sensor wired to the ECU. Using the DashLogic, my DIC says, "METH LEVEL LOW? 0" (1 would be yes).

Good stuff. I'm thinking about setting mine up with a pressure sensor or something to set an alarm if pressure doesn't build.. I'll have to play with it to make sure it doesn't start dinging at me before pressure is built up though.

You could also set an alarm if you wanted to anytime the "washer fluid" gets low.. same idea, just an alarm instead of a different screen to scroll to

Low level sensor on my tank also. Besides the fact that it's safer mounted in the rear I switched cause the WW tank started to leak.

I think the safer part could be argued. I rather keep fuel out of the interior of the car but that is me.

Since meth burns clear I'd rather keep it away from the engine heat. Also I like the fact I get get a tighter seal so it doesn't lose its potency.

I've been debating getting the Alky kit for a couple months now. I won't be using it for a fuel source but rather to keep IAT's in check during the hot summer months. I have read 100% meth is best. Does the meth clean the carbon deposits as good as water though? How about an 80/20 mix, is that common?

So you would rather have a clear fire burning on the inside of the vehicle with you inside of it?

Interesting.

If it's burning in the engine bay with all of that heat it can get pretty bad. Less of a chance in the hatch. Either way things can go bad so I went with the one with lesser odds and more benefits.

I run a mix of about 70/30 and it works great. I know everyone will say pure meth is better, but it works for me.
