What should one expect to pay to have a new cam installed? Also, what other components need/should be installed while the cam's going in? New pushrods, valve springs, timing chain, etc??
Lastly, any recommendations on a cam with a little Lope? I have to take into consideration that a S/C will be going in within the next 10 months too. I have a 2005 roadster A4.

I just put the small blower cam in my car from East Coast Supercharging. Not sure on drivability cause I'm still installing the blower but they said I wouldn't expericnce any surging. You can go on YouTube and look up the cam to hear how it idles. If you are completely stock I would do a new balancer since the OEM one is known to fail. You will also need all the associated gaskets, water pump, timing cover and power steering fluid. I would do timing chain, valve springs, retainers, valve seals, valve guides. They can all be baught as a kit. Not sure what a shop would charge as I do my own wrenching.
