For the guys running nitrous are you using a progressive controller or the full hit on the street/strip? If so, what progressive kit are you using and how's that working for you?
Imo, I think it will all depend on how big of a shot u running. I'm hitting a full 150 right off the back in a cammed c6 z06. Since the shot isn't very big, I just make sure I have good drag radials and control when it comes on by using a window switch. For the street I bring it on at wot and 3700 rpm's that way I at least have a lil roll speed going. I can always move it up or down from there.
A 200 shot I personally would just split it up into two stages. I've thought about progressive controllers but not sure it's necessary on a 150 as long as I hook pretty decent. My tech said he's actually slowed down trying to ramp it in. To each their own I guess but I'm still curious so I'll just see who all chimes in so I can get some ideas as well...
A progressive controller is pretty much a necessity for certain vehicles. Even with a 150 hit- you may make around 250-300ft-lb of torque, which can make traction an issue, especially on the street.
My personal favorite controller is the NOS Launcher. Not only is it a great, reliable controller; it's also easy to use and feature packed. The Launcher has a built in MAP sensor so if you ever go FI, you can base your nitrous ramp curves on boost. It also has full nitrous system data-logging and real time monitoring. It can record your RPM, AFR, Bottle Pressure, trigger inputs, arming inputs, purge, nitrous activation and deactivation points, and nitrous ramp logging. It also has rich/lean AFR cutoff, and boost cutoffs. It can be programmed by either a PC or laptop, or a handheld touchscreen controller.

I use the nos mini controller. It works well and gets the job done. When my tires are worn I will spin on nitrous but I set the ramp to where I find it hooks and still gives plenty of tq under the blower curve. Ex 70%-100% in 1.5 secs
OP, ^^^ this thing is awesome! There are a multitude of ways to set it up, all can work well, just depends on how you need it setup for the Driving preference/event you have. Personally, mine is setup at 50% for the first full second, and then it engages full 100% of the shot. I have it set this way so that I do not lose traction as soon as the nitrous hits. Also, this is much easier on driveline components. This setup worked extremely well at the roll event I attended at the beginning of this month:
