Sounds daft but could quick spool valves help? Its another thing to fail I guess and would require hotside redo. But might help....
no problem lighting the turbos, converts the only issue. nitrous is to get the motor torque back up to push through the converter.

headlights and taillights and functioning brakelights now tied in to the motec pdm module, new larger m&m external trans dump solenoid installed and the dry hit of nitrous is plumbed and wired into the m1 unit. should have some testing in the next couple days to see how she leaves off the line now.

heading back out to shift sector this weekend. made a couple small changes and fixes. rear mounted the mechanical fuel pump under the fuel cell in the rear to address the sloshing in the line and depriming of the pump under hard acceleration. Also got the m&m external -6 trans dump on and tested and it builds boost on the t brake now. added a bottle and 150 shot of sauce if we need it, but as it sits it appears we do not as it just blows the tires off with the sauce and the larger dump on the t brake now.

got some good data out there this weekend, did a new personal best of 223. We were fighting traction out there all weekend. You launch on the paint stripping which is not ideal and the then the track is very dusty asphalt with some weird grooves about half track that appear to unsettle the rear end and cause some rippling as you can see in the wheel speed logs.

all and all considering conditions it was a great weekend!

some little winter changes, pulled the motor and had lme go over it after the season on it to inspect everything. Got some tubs and wider rear fenders from Ron over at veangence. loosening the stator in the converter up a little more to get it leaving a little harder. and doing some aero work on it aswell. some current pics of the rear tubs

hoping to tuck the 32x16.5 mt pro brackets. But it will be a tight fit. Anything smaller than that should tuck no problem

update, had the car out at the pikes peak shift sector in june on our second pass out we snapped the input shaft to the torque tube which ended our event. fast forward to august and we made it out to the indy shift sector and after a bunch of passes with progression of 2-3 mph each pass dialing the car in we ended the event with a 239mph on the first day out out there. the second day out we didnt have as good of luck and lost a wrist pin on the #7 cylinder and torched the short block badly.

cars all torn down for the winter and in the progress of making some aero changes on the wing to reduce drag a smudge, and have a new power plant in the works. LME is cooking up a 13:1 comp 438 ci noonan solid tall deck LS based bottom end with the same existing top end we had on the car. Turbos are back at PTE getting the compressors upgraded to 98mm XPR wheels, Blake over at 417 Motorsports cooked us up a Air to Water Intercooler core and we are fabbing that in aswell as a large ice box with the trans cooler mounted internally in that guy. May also move to a LJRC one Piece front end if time permits before the April event back down in California.

hoping its similar to the old combo with the 88s. More cubes and compression to accompany it. 13:1 compression and 438 ci now.

We have 2 kits of nitrous on the car too that lights it up pretty easy now too.
