Default What injectors for e85 700whp

Hey guys...I have been searching but haven't found a good answer yet. My grand sport m6 currently makes 680whp and I have FIC 85# injectors. My base fuel pressure is at 58 and my injector duty cycle is somewhere in the 60's. I'm about to switch to E85 (race gas in drums) and 1 size smaller pulley and curious if my injectors will flow enough fuel and if not what injectors I would need from FIC. Thanks!

ID has a calculator on the website that will show you what the different models will support based on fuel, fuel pressure, etc.

While I think 80s have made in the 700 and 800rwhp range on e85.

Seeing as you have a Vette you are probably pump limited, so I would think the bigger the better.

I'm making the switch over to E85 for my twin turbo build. After a bunch of research on E85 and the corvette fuel system I decided to go with a Fore Innovations kit because all the lines are teflon and the o-rings etc. are all made specifically to handle the fuel. I'd be careful running a stock system with E85 as I've heard of filters getting clogged and o-rings prematurely failing. Not sure if its true or not as I know some GM flex fuel vehicles use similar if not the same parts as the Vettes, but its better to be safe.

Anyhow, If your plan is to make 700whp, why not just get the FIC 127's? Better to go bigger so if you decide to make more power down the road you have a little room to grow. 1000s will almost be at their max with 700whp.

Go with the biggest you can afford. ID1300s or ID1700s IMO.

bosch 1330cc can be had for a fair bit less than the ID's if your building on a tighter budget?

That's not true. Fuel systems are built with ethanol in mind as almost all fuel has 10% or so in it..

Nothing will fail.

But it also won't support much power.

Budget isn't a problem...I don't like to cut any corners on my car so I do everything right the first time haha gotta pay to play. Sounds like the FIC 127's might be my best bet for room to grow. And I do not have the OEM fuel system...I have the A&A holley twin pump fuel system and it is E-85 compatible

I appreciate the help everyone! I am switching to E-85R because I get free fuel from sunoco so why not lol. It runs on 100 octane 260gt fuel right now and I like to do half mile stuff and long pulls so I like the idea of E-85 for safety

Ok thanks guys! Any difference between ID injectors and FIC? I have FIC's right now and they seem to work great but didn't know if ID's are better in any way
