I'm sure I'm not the only one that's had this problem. Car was cam only before and would run around 174-187ish before cruising on the freeway and would maybe jump to 210ish on a super hot day here in nor cal in traffic or in town.
Now that the blow is on, cruising on the freeway in 70 degree weather in the morning it hovers around 200-205 and on my way home from work in close to 100 degree weather it's up around 225 and will go over 230 of the a/c is on.
Just wondering if anyone has any tips or suggestions on getting the car to run a little cooler.
I'm sure the big intercooler blocking the radiator probably has something to do with it.
Do some searching. The cliff notes I'll give you are to look into a Dewitt's cut down radiator and call them and have them set you up with their brushless fan kit that mates to their cut down radiator. Having an intercooler in front of your radiator inhibits air flow and makes it a lot harder for the stock fan to pull air through.
Also check and make sure your current radiator and ac condenser are clean and free of debris.

The Dewitt's was my next move. Probably going to pull the trigger next week. I commute the car 100 miles a day so I need something to help for sure. Thanks for the input
I'm running a d1 on a ls7. my car gets hot too, i'm on e85 as well. Run down the interstate and it will be about 214. Stop in town and the temps will get to 225 but never hotter with the AC on
