I am ready to install a cam, for a future Centrifugal Supercharger an A&A or ECS etc someday in the next 2-3 years.
My goals are conservative and all I'm after would be 550-575 RWHP on my 6-speed 2005 Z51 package, this will be a cruiser car, no drags, just spirited ridding around and going to car shows, I do not want Meth necessarily, and I 100% do not want fuel smell, no way , no how.
I already have Kooks 1-3/4, Hi Flow Cats, NXT Cat Back.
My tuner has suggested a 222/230 on 116 LS which has -6 degrees overlap. Since he will install the cam I only want to know if the cam will meet my goals. I could install the cam myself but I ma too busy to do it until Dec-January time frame and I don't have the patient to wait that long.
I agree, no need for a cam and if you go with a cam, wait and do it when you do the blower. You're wasting money on labor doing it now rather when the car is apart for the blower install.
I really don't want to hold back the SC, I just want a dependable running car that does not create water temp / heat issues in traffic... if it comes out at 600 rwhp +/- .....I'm Ok with that, I guess I'm just saying that I am not shooting for any specific RWHP number,
