Default Tuning Options

I recently purchased a Procharger and I'm exploring options for tuning. I would like to at least get a base tune before installing it so I can drive it to a shop if need be. Any suggestions?

You could always leave your stock injectors in to drive to a shop, just keep out of boost on the way there of course.

On stock injectors you can drive on the stock tune.

As already stated.. stay out of boost

That is really your best option IMO. Change injectors when you get there and then they can have at it

I assume you don't have HP Tuners or EFI Live?

this is what I did... I babied the car for a week or 2 to make sure everything was ok before I had the car tuned

No I don't have either. How user friendly are they?

They both basically give you direct access to more tables than you've probably ever heard of... Def not easy but can be learned. But by the time you buy one of the packages, add a wideband and add some books/dvd's to learn what to do you'll be up around $1K pretty quick.

It's not a "hit the bigger injectors and supercharger" button and be done type of thing. It's all up to the user to adjust maf curves, timing, VE tables, tons of fuel injector data tables, etc.

Both are easy enough to use. The problem is knowing what to actually do.
