Hello I'am new to this forced induction game my car is a 08 z51 M6 with kooks headers 1/78, ported heads cold air intake, c5 r timing chain , and a katech cam. my question is would a torquer ls3 cam that i have in the car work with my new ECS 1500 blower can i sill make good boost . my cam spec are 224/236 581/601 at 113 . Or do i need a blower cam .
Did you mean over drive or under pulley? Under drive on a blower car is going to work against you if you meant under drive
I don't see why not. People get up to around that on stock cam'd cars. The under drive pulley may hurt you a bit if that's what you're leaving on there.

You WILL NOT NEED A BLOWER CAM. N/A cams are just fine with boost the whole n/a blower/ turbo thing is a Mith. I run a pure All Motor cam on my turbo Z06 and made more power then these blower cams at he same boost. I made 623/545 N/A and 840/740 with 6lbs of boost.
I meant a crank pulley my stock crank is already pinned . some shops in my area are saying that my lob sep 113 is too close and it wouldn't make boost . thats why i turned to my fellows at the corvette forum .
NA cam here with a turbo and it works just fine. Im sure a properly specd cam would make a little more power with better spool. The cam was already in the car so I dont see a point in swapping it till I build the motor.
The reality is that blower will make over 800rwhp and has for many over the years. So, worst case, turn up the boost a little bit to make up whatever you need to get to 700.
I can't drive me car for a while i fractured my tibia will be off work for 4 months got buried at work up to my waist lucky to be alive so, Time to modify the car it gives me some thing to look forward to the car will be going to the shop soon.

I really want to see some videos of your car racing
Where is this coming from? There are plenty on youtube. Missed my last race last month but got another in December, and another 2 in March.
Want a video of me driving it to work too? That's what I did with it is this morning, and yesterday. Can even take video of it going to the gym if that floats your boat, or picking up water softener salt at home depot, or going to the botanical gardens this weekend in it.

Because I want to see a 1200whp Vette race? Is this a sore subject or something?

It's relative. "Wont make boost" is an extreme statement.
Your combo will make way more power than you can use on the street... like others in this thread have stated, and are making crazy power.
I'm sure the shop is referencing that a 114-116 LSA would be a little more optimum, and they are right. How much power are you leaving on the table? Not enough to even consider changing out the cam, in my opinion. You certainly won't notice it. Maybe they are more comfortable tuning the car with a cam they typically install on a blower car, and that's one reason to push you towards a new cam. I don't know.
If you were running something like an 108 lsa, it would hurt boost down in the lower rev-range. But you're not, so in reality the point they are trying to make is irrelevant.
