I just purchased a used EForce and am curious if I need a catch can or not. I have had my heads rebuilt and CNC'd by Lindenfelter. The valve covers are OEM as is most of my car (minus headers).

Do I need to have a catch can or will the dry sump in my 08 Z06 be okay with the stock amount of boost? I want to be sure I do this right.

 

Never need one, but they are helpful even on a stock car. Mighty mouse makes the best corvette setups.

 

To me it sounds like the two cans (Draft and PVC) are one in the same nearly. Any ideas?

I'm running the PCV version. Either will work fine IMO

 

what kind of oil accumulation do you get?

 

I wish I had measured it.. I just emptied it a week or so ago after not emptying it for probably 2 months. I got a lot out of it but can't quantify how much it was.

It was more water than oil surprisingly. It was enough to fill the remote drain line + fill the can up to the sight glass thing, however much that is.

 

How many miles was that approximately?

 

I'd guess 4-5K if I had to throw a number at it. I drive around 20-25K per year
