I want a set of Nitto NT05R Drag Radials. The only problem is trying to find them in 285/35/19 for stock 5 spoke C6 z51 wheels. Would 305/35/19 be fine on the stock 19" wheels? Would it affect my speedo or active handling stystem? Thanks
I ran the 305 et streets before I went widebody and they hooked great at 630rwhp.
MT 305 ET streets worked great for me I lowered my car on the stock bolts all the way around and on hard launches / bad Michigan roads I did see where they rubbed a little but nothing serious. ET Streets are the way to go. I'd do it all over again.
Been running 305/35R19's for a little while. Active handling kicks on around tight turns but otherwise no problems. Hook better than my Invos did but still not as nice as my 17's. Good compromise for the street.
That's the Bad about the 19" they do not have as much sidewall as the 17" and the sidewall plays and important part in the way the tire works.
Awesome to know that they should be ok. The only thing that worries me is the active handling around corners because I plan to autocross the car at times also. What are y'all opinions on a decent 19" tire for autocross and some drag days?

I just bought these NT05R tires going to install them later this month. I'm currently on a 305/30/19 with matching 265/xx/18 (forgot the aspect ratio). I'm hoping a slightly taller tire won't be a big deal going to 35 from 30.
