Designed to bleed boost? Just curious how a cam is designed to bleed boost and why you'd want one.

Nice ride btw

Finally a Whipple build with some serious boost incoming. I can't wait to see the results.

My guess is to scavenge excessive heat from the cylinder, like you would with a nitrous cam.

Stock short block. I would do the same.

That does indirectly lower compression too I suppose. Hence "safe".

Whipples make a lot of power. Just get a 2.9 and pulley it down. It should be able to take down a 1500 Paxton even up top.

Lol I was just having fun trolling. I haven't really seen anyone go all out with the 2.9 yet 1500's do about 850ish I believe. I'm pretty sure the 2.9 can do that if it has the smallest pulley available on it.

800-850rwhp is the top for 1500's

I think people would be surprised what a good PD blower can do though.. tough to do on a Corvette though. Not enough room

Sure a Whipple 4.5L will do work but why when you can make that kind of power with Centri that fits under the stock hood?

Actually the newer Ti wheel'd 1500s are doing ~900rwhp without issues.

For the 900whp, how many cubes and how much boost?
