Default M&h drag radials

Wanting opinions on m&h racemaster drag radials. Wanted to order mt et R but they are 6-8 weeks out so looking into the m&h. How well can they hook around 700whp on the street?

Most importantly will the 325/45r17 fit on a BASE C6?

I like my 295/45/17 MT radials on C5Z06 fronts. What wheel fits the 325s?

I need to try out a pair of M&H on 17"s. I have heard great things. But I too am curious about getting around 700whp to hook on the street from a dig.

The M&H is a great tire. I don't think anything going to fully hook from a dig on the street but these are as good or better than anything I've tried yet.
As far as fitting a narrow body I never tried but that are pretty narrow for a 325 so I think they might be ok.

They have hooked up awesome on the street for me and I highly recommend them. I am not 700whp level but 600+ and I could get them to hook from a dig. I can't comment on fitment on a non-Z06/GS car.

You're probably right. I'm running a Nitto NTO5R tire right now and if it isn't warm out, I don't do a burn out and don't reduce the pressure down from 32psi(where I keep them at for street use) then it's spin city until about 40-60MPH depending on what gear I'm in. That was at 600whp. Now I have 2 step launch control and shooting for 700-750(getting motor built right now)....so...

I will have to try them. My Nittos do fine on the track but struggle on the street. Given on a nice warm day and decent highway(I live out in BFE) they hook from a 40 roll in 2nd gear. Anything in 1st gear doesn't hook on the street at all.

When people say "from a dig on the street" I am assuming no burnout and not stopping to lower pressures. In that scenario... no tire is going to hook 700 plus hp. Or none that I have ever found.

Good point. But that is reality on the street since i'm not talking about street racing at 2am with proper prep. Of course, my Nittos can semi-hook up with the proper prep anyways. Regardless, I think trying the MTs would be interesting once I wear the current set out.

Been enjoying my m&h's they hook 3rd at 930. Don't hook 2nd at 855. At the track I was able to hold almost all of first at 855whp.

I want to run the 325/45/17 M&H DR's on my 2012 GS (779 RWHP) but there is quite a bit of information that suggests this tire at 28" tall will set off problems with the Active Handling / Traction Control system. If this is true I would need to run the MT 295/45/17 (27" diameter) DR's to stay within the allowed front/rear diameter difference. Comments?

The M&H actually measure about 27.2 when on the car. They don't give me any issues.

Thanks. The 28" comes from the M&H specs. What rim width do you have the tires mounted on?

Do you have any information on the maximum rear/front diameter difference tolerance? The number I see most often is 1.04. However, the NT05R 345/30/19 DR's that are on the car now measure out at 1.06 so go figure. It is very frustrating I can't get definitive information.
