I'm on the market for a multi-function gauge as I'm still undecided of what direction I'm taking yet, either Nitrous or Supercharged..
The 2 companies that caught my eye are PLX and Innovate Motorsports. I've had an Innovate XD-16 back in 2008 on my supercharged denali and it looked like it fit perfect in the interior being a smart suv.
The PLX multi-gauge looks like it could offer me everything and then some! But I just think it doesn't look as good as the Innovates. I can add sensor modules as I build which is a good plus about this kit since it's up-gradable friendly.
The Innovate looks like a gauge that would be locked behind a glass pane, I mean it's beautiful, but not up-gradable. The ECF-1 offers AFR, Fuel Pressure, Fuel Temperature and Ethanol Content. (I have no plan going E-85 yet). Even if my motor was going to be a stock build or nitrous, I still think this gauge would help keep an eye out on the fuel system.
My dilemma is I want them both, but I've got the SLP gauge pod to fill up which only takes 1, so wanted to know if anyone has any experience/pics with any of the gauges to help me decide.
I have the PLX and if I had to do it over again, I probably would've bought something else. It seems decent, but I've had it not turn on multiple occasions and ended up having to mess around with it a ton to get it back on. It does seem noticeably slower than other gauges I've seen as well.
I have dashlogic and I love it. Especially if you have HUD. Definitely better than having 15 different gauges, and you can monitor more than one parameter at a time as well. Money well spent if you ask me.
I'm using dashlogic, along with a wideband and e85 sensor readouts in the cup holder for the less ricey look. I'll have a low pressure switch for fuel that will blind me with an LED
