Yep, best pass last year was 9.86@144 with a 1.47 60ft spraying out of the hole, half second progressive starting at 40%. DA was about 400ft at the time.

I feel like there is more in it as is but watching people spray 150 on a stock ls7 bottom end I'm wondering if I'm being too cautious.

Not to jam up your thread but here is the vid.

Thats awesome! What did your car make on the dyno with no spray, what clutch do you have?

Numbers are all over the place due to different dynos. Made 572whp at ECS. That translated to 477whp on Powerhaus's "Heartbreaker" dyno and 632whp on the 150 pill.

All last year I had a mantic 9000 but it didn't like that much slip spraying out of the hole and didn't last long, just put in a Mcleod RXT. Pedal feel I like it better but no track passes yet so no comment on longevity.

Pretty similar builds.

I had a rtx I switched to a ram 10.5 twin. I'm hoping for a mid 9. What tire are you running?

Oh boy, any reason you bailed on the RXT?

I was running a weld drag pack. 17x11 out back with a 315 Mt et Street radial and 17x5 up front with m&h radials. I only run radials because I drive quite a ways to get to the track.

Depending on where you are and the DA I think mid 9s is a reasonable goal.

First go in the 9s I had some below sea level DA and rolled a 1.7x 60ft with some delay programed into the progressive controller and still went 9.87@143.

Honestly I never even installed the rtx. They sent wrong parts and I didn't have time to wait for them to fix it so I got the 10.5 next day air. It's been good so far.

How much nitrous have you been leaving on and what's your best 60?

Ah OK I was curious as I've heard decent things about the RXT.

That 1.47 60ft pass was my best yet but that's also the first time I sprayed out of the hole with no delay.

I start my progressive at 40% and ramp up to 100% over half a second. Normally leaving in up to a half second of delay as well. So I'm pretty much at that full 150 shot at 1 second after going full throttle.

I'm still fiddling with what is best and I'm sure my driving can use some work as well . I run the nos mini with that little handheld remote so I make a pass and then make some small changes based on how I feel it's working.

Regardless of those finer details though your car is gonna fly on the juice.

What controller do you run? Getting this this setup will be interesting. Do you run it off mph? Or just time?

I'm using a Nos Mini, one of the most common. It has your normal rpm window switch but the delays and whatnot are time based. It has a tiny pendant with two buttons I leave in the glove box that you use to change all the parameters.

I just started with a large delay like 2 seconds and see what it did on the strip. Backed it down from there until I was comfortable with when it was coming on.

Gotchya. I went with the nx maximizer 4 controller. I'm debating running it mph but may go time based. Probably try both and see how she does.
