Default Let's see some aftermarket valve covers

Doesn't matter if they're yours or not as long as they'll fit on a LS head. What's everyone's favorite valve covers?

I bought some coil harness extensions and found some relocation brackets for truck coils and I hid everything behind the fenders... here's what the brackets look like

More Proforms here.

But it will look much better when I get it back together now with AN's for crankcase breathing and wrinkle black.

Coils are in the fenders with just some home made brackets/spacers etc.. Nothing special.

Make sure to use some wires with the lowest Ohms that you can get.... If not, you'll run into misfiring issues under boost... The coils are just not strong enough to light it since they are over 3' away...so any additional resistance will add to the problem.

I used MSD super conductors for years, now I run the Taylor 25 ohm race wire and like it MUCH better. Taylor plug ends are 10x better then MSD.

They're pretty neat and the price point is nice. Only drawback is they don't take an LS oil cap. You have to use a SBC style one which is why I have that big ugly breather on one of my pics. Now I just fill through the AN. Also the rubber washers around the bolts get soft and start squishing out. Replace with nylon washers from the hardware store and all good.

What would be the best route. A coil harness extension or longer coil wires?

personally I think soldering the wires in is a better solution since there are less points of failure, it would just be a bit more work to go back to the way it was before if you ever decide to... I had a problem with one of my extension harnesses at one point, I lost the whole passenger bank and the extension harness plug had melted... luckily my coil harness nor the factory plug were damaged... I replaced the harness and haven't had an isusue since... my only guess is that one of the pins was loose inside the connector and caused it to heat up

I had that happen on the seat heater connector on my truck. The thing was melted.. common problem too. I replaced all the pins and connectors and it's been fine ever since, fortunately.
