Default Header Size - LS3 Maggie

I have an LS3 with a Magnacharger. Auto tranny.

Next mod is headers without cats. 1-3/4 or 1-7/8 ???

I have a GS with stock 2.5-inch exhaust with NPP.

Not much down side to the 1.875's. If you already had 1.75's, I wouldn't change them. If buying new, go with the larger size.

Edit...and just be prepared for LOUD. The first time my NPP's opened at WOT, after the 1.875 header install (no cats), I thought I had blown the damn mufflers off..

Much appreciated. Wasn't sure if I needed to stick with a certain one to preserve the power curve. The sound you describe is exactly what I am looking for. I miss my '08 with the big cam and B&B bullets. I absolutely love the Maggie - just want some loud to go with the pedal.

I'd go with the biggest ones for sure.

At your power level I'd stick with the 1 7/8" primary headers.
