Default Max effort Si

Currently making 651rw at 11psi on 93 alone. I've got a 3.4 pulley going on (3.6 is on now) and meth. Looking to max this blower out. What is the little guy capable of making?

If you worked to max it out, including overdriving the blower, you can make over 725whp.

I would be content with anything over 700rw. Will an overdrive crank and the 3.4 be over spinning it?

I made 722 with an Si using the 7.5/3.4 combo and meth. It was done.

So stock lower with 3.4? I would be happy with that for sure.

Can anyone tell if that is overdriving it? I planned on going with a T trim but if the Si will make 700whp without overdriving it that will probably be better for me.

I'm at 672RW with a 3.6 pulley, dual nozzle meth and LS7 exhaust manifolds (with gutted cats), all tuned by BLOWNBLUEZ06@RKTPerformance, so I'd definiltey agree that if you max it out you should be good for 725+RWHP. I'm seriously thinking about going back for 3.4 pulley and long tubes in the next 3-6 months to see how far I can go on this little Si with a stock LS3.

As for overdriving it, Vortech rates the max for the V3-Si as 52,000rpm:
http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/page.php?id=30148
Here's the calculator for impeller speed:
http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/page.php?id=33511
If you use 7.5" for the crank pulley, 3.4" for the blower pulley and 6600 for the rev limit, you get 52,411rpm, which wouldn't really be overdriving it.

Yes but it was on a heads and cam LS3

V2 will go 55000rpm
V3 52000 rpm.

The 3.4/7.5 will max out a V3 at 6500 rpm/

Sounds good. I've got a cam as well with stock heads. I will put the 3.4 on with meth and see what she'll do. I looked into upgrading to Ti but it would have cost me $1800 with my trade-in and my Si has very limited mileage so I couldn't justify spending the cash. The car is very strong as is so I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

IMHO, it's not going to be enough. You're going to get used to 700 really quick and you're going to want to be able to go further without spending $$$ on a new head unit. It's like sizing your fuel system, go with more than you need vs. just enough. Ask people that have already tried..the Si is pretty well done at 725whp.. It's not going to make much more than that without overspinning it.
