Return style fuel system
I have the ECS stage 2 fuel system installed with the factory LS7 fuel rail. Where do you place your check valve to keep pressure in the system? Right now I have the check valve just before the fuel rail but the system bleeds off pressure within a minute.

shouldn't the check be after the fuel rails? That would trap the pressure in the rails and at the injectors.

Do you have the regulator block off plugs in the tanks?

You want it before the rail, so it doesnt drain back through the pump when the car is off.

Mine is sitting in the garage. Never had an issue starting, fires right up so didn't see a need to install it.

Does the return side have a check in it?

No, it doesn't need to. Fuel will only flow past the regulator if the pressure is over your base pressure.

Ah OK didn't realize the regulator was downstream of the rails. Makes sense now.
