ok fellas i need a little help and or input on the matter i have now put the e85 flexfuel set up on my car and i also have a stand alone with maxnos (116 oct) in it and am wondering if any one else has did this or something similar to it and how did you like it .. or should i just keep with the 93/maxnos when i spray ?
well all fuel around here has a min of 10% ethanol in the gas . but would you care to explain
I believe its actually up to 10%. Which most cars will actually pick up horsepower if running straight 93 over that. The fuels are not only different but your spraying them just before combustion, which doesnt even allow them to "mix" at all. It would make tuning more difficult and inconsistent.

im running a low pressure pump on the stand alone and it is kinda being a pita to get the afr close i have went back to 93 atm. but i dont know really... Have you personally ran it or tried it to have first hand experience ? car runs great on motor with e85 when its cool out but this hot *** weather is killing it

No but a friend tried it on his car. He ended up putting e98 in the standalone and the car ran a lot smoother, easier to tune as well. Where are you located? I'm in Florida and never had any issues with the heat and e85

arkansas. i may end up doing that to see if maybe it is the fuel mixing but im having a time trying to get this max4 progressive lined out .. baby steps to try to get it all perfect i guess .
Mixing fuel like that will make tuning very hard to do and inconstant. If you are using e85 then use e85 in your stand alone or e98 in your stand alone. If you are using 93 octane, use your 116 in the stand alone.
